The Altistart 48 (ATS48) is a soft start/ soft stop controller unit with 6 thyristors used for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motors, for power ratings between 4 and 900 kW. With motor protection functions as well as functions for communicating with control systems, the ATS48 soft starting and deceleration functions are a cost-effective solution.

Supplied as a ready-for-use unit for standard applications with class 10 motor protection, the ATS48 comprises an integrated display terminal which can be used to modify the programming, adjustment or monitoring functions in order to adapt and customize the application based on the customer requirements.
