Comau are world leaders in the industrial automation field and specialists in processes and automated systems that improve manufacturing and production.

Founded in the 1970s, a group of Torino based engineers were commissioned to design and build a state-of-the-art factory from the ground up, to withstand the Russian weather. Overcoming the long list of obstacles, the engineers were able to solve the problems and produce a plant that was deemed “unprecedented.”

Upon their return to Torino, Italy, the engineers and the companies they represented decided to combine their talent, skills and innovative ideas for the future, to create an organisation that is recognised around the world today as Comau.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Comau had gone from strength to strength, from creating the first FMS (Flexible Manufacturing Systems) and developing technologies for high-speed machining, to expanding its development into the United States, South America, Europe and Asia.

Today, Comau is known as a leading supplier in manufacturing services for equipment and production processes while continuing to create innovative automation solutions to improve operational efficiency within many sectors. Driving innovation and excellence into the factories of the future.

Characterised by high performance in terms of speed, repeatability, accuracy and flexibility, the Comau robotics extensive range includes small payload robots to the massive capacity payload of 650kg.
